Jimmy Hutcheson to Speak on "Internet Television Pioneers" Panel at Beverly Hills Hotel

I am speaking on Dec. 17 at the Beverly Hills Hotel for AlwaysOn's BreakOut conference - "Internet Television Pioneers." I will likely bring some of the Ego TV stars along. Does this mean the Malibu U. cast will come in bikini's?....Can't do it! If you are in the LA area and would like to attend the conference or talk about Ego TV with us, please visit http://alwayson.goingon.com/permalink/post/28841 to register for the conference.

The race to the White House continues to heat up - the only items in the news right now are the election and the economy. Who are you voting for? What do you like most/ least about the VP candidates? Did you see the Sarah Palin skit on SNL last week?

Ed Hardy at LA Fashion Week

I attended LA Fashion Week today, and was impressed particularly by the production value of Christian Audigier's latest Ed Hardy show at Smashbox Studios in LA. Christian continues to ignite and "re-spark" his signature Ed Hardy brand. Though it may be over-exposed in LA, many people are just now realizing what an interesting and creative brand Ed Hardy really is.

In short, Christian is a marketing genius, and I am not just saying that becuase he advertised on Ego TV. He has become a fashion icon in a very short period of time, and is able to leverage his brands, one at a time, to build new brands and introduce new themes to consumers. In short, Christian knows how to get celebrities and trend-setters to wear his clothes. They become authentic friends with Christian, and wear the clothes in front of paparazzzi, etc. Congratulations to Christian on a great show today!

LA Fashion Week approaching

Perhaps you have seen some of our other coverage of LA Fashion Week from last spring. Because the "fashion industry" is a highly coveted place to work (notice how I said "WORK" and not just "BE"), we find those designers, fashion entrepreneurs, and trend-setters that know what it takes to become successful and offer insight on the industry to YOU. Yes, actual purpose-driven coverage and interviews with insiders. You can check-out interviews from last spring's LA Fashion Week. A special thanks to Tracie from Monarchy! LA Direct Magazine is hosting a kick-off party at Kress on Hollywood Blvd. We will keep you posted.
